In the past decade, an important aspect of the development of molded FRP in China has been the manufacture and application of special types of FRP products, such as high toughness, heat resistance and corrosion resistance. Phenolic, epoxy and epoxy phenolic adhesives are mostly used for more than 60% of the weight of glass fiber in FRP molded products. Compared with the previous molding process, the molding temperature required in the molding process is higher (generally 160°C~170°C), and the molding pressure is larger (the unit pressure required is generally in the range of 2001300KG/cm, and the upper limit can reach 500KG/cm).

FRP cooling compression products, such as high toughness, can be used in a variety of processes. According to the physical form of the reinforcing material or its paving method in the process, it can be divided into the following seven types:
1. The chopped fiber molding material molding system will use premixed or prepreg glass fiber chopped molding material: a method of putting FRP products into a metal mold for molding. This method is simple and easy to implement, especially suitable for manufacturing small and medium-sized commodities with complex structures, and is the most widely used.
2. Directional pavement molding system directional pavement prepreg glass fiber products, and then put the material blanks of directional paving into metal molds, and form FRP products in tools. This process is ideal for manufacturing large products with high stress and stress in both directions and directions.
3. The felt forming system is a method to cut the glass fiber prepreg felt into the desired shape, and then put it into a metal mold to form FRP products. The chopped glass fiber prepreg felt made by this method is easy to use in the pressing operation, has little fiber strength loss in the material preparation process, and has good fiber ductility in the commodity. The preparation of molded materials is suitable for continuous large-scale production. As a result, it is widely used.
4. Stacking molding is a method of cutting the glass cloth (or other fabric) soaked in resin according to the size and shape of the product, superimposing it into the required number of layers, and then putting it into a metal mold to form FRP products. This method is more suitable for large, thin-walled products or some products with simple shapes and special requirements.
5. The winding molding system is a method of winding the glass fiber or cloth (belt) soaked in resin on the mold core of a certain shape, and then heating and pressurizing the FRP product in the metal mold. This method is suitable for products or tube rods that form special shapes.
6. The rag molding system is a method of cutting the glass cloth (or other fabric) corners soaked in resin into small residues, and then forming FRP mold products in metal molds. This method is only suitable for FRP products with uncomplicated shapes and general performance.
7. The multi-directional fabric forming system is a method to weave the two-way or three-way fabric wrapped in resin into the desired shape in advance and put it into a metal mold to form FRP products. Among them, due to the introduction of reinforcing fibers, the fiber equipment can be reasonably arranged according to the stress situation, so the properties of plastics, especially the solid properties and heat resistance, have been significantly improved. It has better repeatability and reliability compared with ordinary molded products, and is a complex and expensive development method for molded FRP products, such as three-way stress structures and flame-resistant parts.
Among the above methods, staple fiber compression molding press is the most widely used and has the fastest development. If you need carbon fiber compression molding press, welcome to contact us for total hydraulic press solution.
